    Hardcore@Promise?

Why don't Promise just change their policy again, and instead of booking the world's premier Trance and Hard Dance DJs, give residencies to DJ Scott and Matrix? :p

Everyone talks about hardcore as charva music but IMO trance gets just as many charva fans as does hard house

bit of hardcore would be nice every now and then but how the fook would we dance to it?!

    Hardcore

Im a hardcore head and think hardcore @ Promise is just a silly idea.

They type of hardcore your mentioning anyway is all the cheese, which no way should be associated with the word hardcore.

And the Nuklez hardhouse stuff, is just happy hardcore anyway.

If Promise started booking DJs who play that, it would attaract all the young charvaz who no nothing better than getting waisted and wrapping there bottom lip over there foreheads. This would probably ruin the only decent club night in Newcastle.

Keep all that nonsense for the likes of Hanger 13 & The New Monkey.

I wouldnt really call Ikons oldskool night an 'oldskool night'. Its all old charty house-pop aint it?

Anywayz, Im starting a hardcoee night in Newcastle next year, non of your cheese, hardcore techno & breakz.

I would glady play an oldksool techno/acid set in teh backroom at Promise like :)

    Re: Hardcore

wat since when have glazby, billy bunter, stimulants, dropped happy hardcore into a hard house set... take brisk he may in your eyes have a cheesye name but:

    http://www.nextgenerationrecords.co.uk/play.php?id=BRISK001

is far from cheese - I'd describe that as gabba :D not a hard house mix but hey his hard house sets certainly don't contain happy hardcore.

and to be honest I quite like happycore - it's the biggest dance music in amaerica outside of house, its loved thousands of uncharva sorts throughout england...
