Many of the Newcastle fans on here like to harp on about the season Sunderland got relegated with 19 points but i would take that everytime ahead of witnessing two players representing my club fighting with each other, without doubt the most disgraceful thing i have seen on a football pitch. They should both be sacked without any questions asked but i have a feeling that will never happen. How many last chances is Keiron "last chance" Dyer going to get ??? and as for Lee Bowyer he is just a fucking thug and a horrible human being.

Yeah they are worth far to much money to the club a sacking is never going to happen, this must be about the fourth or fifth incident with Keiron Dyker though that lad has had more chances than a cat has lives. Do you think they should be sacked Spence ?

Anyone who has played football at any level will know it's as easy to get into a debate/fight with your own team mates as the opposition however it doesn't condone what they did.

There suppose to be an example to all the young kids that idolise the grass they walk on. The two players have had more chances than most and should be made an example of. I'd ban the two till the end of the season.

Anyone remember the old firm brawl with MacAvennie, Woods & Butcher?? They had to go to court on the Monday.

Out in the sticks cool as fukk gang! :)
it was a disgrace but it's not exactly unheard of, training pitch spats are common in top flight football and sometimes they spill into games - as people have said, tempers are high, the pressure is on, and they lose it... we arent the first team to have something like this happen, i can name plenty of other examples.

as long as we restore the original mentality, and carry on - we should be ok.

with the benefit of time to think about it, it's really not the setback people are calling it.

it'll be forgotten before long, and dug up next time two players have a 'scrap on', as a statistic, no more.

and as for the worst ever premiership season vs two players scrapping...

at worst, staurdays antics showed a lack of self restraint by two clearly very fired up players. i would sooner have one moment of madness, adrenaline and passion, than a season devoid of any.

note that i in no way condone the actions... but in the grand scale of things, it's nothing, really.

It still baffles me how the fight during the Ireland V Wales rugby match goes totally un noticed.

Granted it was opponents but it was still a live scrap during an international sporting event live on BBC1.

It defo wont happen at NUFC because you cant get anyfucker to play for you. Half your MF wants away.

Dyer is out of contract end of next season (dosnt seem to be rushing to sigh a new one eh?)

Penas has dropped the penny and wants away...

And Nicky Butt knows the place is a joke and will be off in the summer!
