cant say ive done it myself but some people email home instead of sending postcards im guessing, others might come on here to speak to friends instead of ringing/texting. or, amazingly, there might be the odd time where you have nothing much to do for a couple of hours and you want to kill some time.

or they just might not be as uber-rave-cool as alex-the-goon... "wart nit nit" ;)

I actually think she just means that she's a teacher and is on school holiday, so can get on the internet during the day.

The days of a holiday being some kind of exclusion from the rest of the world for 1-2 weeks are long from over .... this aint the 1980's anymore - Cybercafe's and mobile phones means theres no reason to assume that just because your in another country you arent allowed to do things that you do at home.

Yep .... I shudder to think of how many tins of HP beans need to be put on those shelves in order to pay for a 30 minute session at a cybercafe ...

Brid you're just being a cock.

And going on the internet when you're on holiday is a little bit sad, regardless of your occupation.

Hardly being a cock when he called me out as being a loser for admitting what most other people do on this board ..... which is sit in front of it for hours every day.

I dont see whats so special about being on holiday that means you cant use a cybercafe to check your emails or read a messageboard .... how many people buy an english language newspaper when they are abroad? Or go and sit in an 'english pub'.
