why do people come on the internet when there on holiday, is there holiday going so shit, that they have to go on the net.

cant say ive done it myself but some people email home instead of sending postcards im guessing, others might come on here to speak to friends instead of ringing/texting. or, amazingly, there might be the odd time where you have nothing much to do for a couple of hours and you want to kill some time.
