    -----------------------------------------------------------------

The ZAP brand spawned it to being in 2007 and has been successful from there on. Starting at Stereo, this occasional night provided an exceptional alternative to other boring monotonous student nights.

Since its first appearance at Digital in November 2007, ZAP has stamped its authority on the Newcastle night scene and the Digitalism after party on the 18th April 2008 is just a taste of what's to come.

ZAP is proud to present the best of Newcastle’s local talent and the freshest student DJs on the block.

Money talks & Digitals a big old dance floor to keep warm...

I wholeheartedly agree, the Cosmic as a club should be doing A LOT more than it does for £600pm, they could help with Promo/Advertising/Mail shots etc... but like I said they simply dont have to?

It is a shame in that sense as your up against quite a bit being situated in Stowell St. you have to rely solely on your fan base as passing trade is virtually non existant, the promo to any night there is crucial which is another job in itself if your up against Pinky & Perky the poster mafia. But nights will come & go there, folk will quite happily put up with the terms & conditions of the cosmic for £600 as it's one of the only other Venues available, but your right it is a shame as Habit is a good fixture for any club, line-up wise & the clientel it attracts.

How’s that? No one’s forcing you to go. There’s still plenty of other things going on town over the weekend…. Those nights will be full of students as well! Nightmare! Did you not notice how dead town was over the summer when they were gone?

So what if they are students? (some of them  ) There's some mint student DJ's out there.

Im really looking forward to tonight. Its a rare chance to play out, and in a wicked venue as well - Room 2 of Digital is class :cool2:

Im not exactly sure of whats getting played in the main room (either Electro or D&B) but upstairs it’ll be House/Techno with me, Chad and Richy Ahmed (DirtyDisco/Asylum/Simpler/Balance.) In Room 3 there’s Dubstep with Dandy Freitas (London Subculture.) Summit for everyone…. Except maybe Trance fans like yourself Sloth. Sorry about that :)

Are you playing every month Vance?

Is Richy Ahmed any relation to Ross Ahmed?
