    Why doesn't it surprise me that it was a McDonnel-Douglas

    I really hope I never have to fly on one

    I don't mind flying at all, I do know someone who once said her 'hail marys' during a flight to Turkey and aint flown since!!

    We had terrible turbulance on our way from Bangkok-Dubai, my head was literally being banged around my headrest and you could see the lightning bolts through the window! :down:

    You always know if its bad when the flight attendants have to sit down and put put thier seat belts on too!!

    Think of all the passenger miles that BA, AA and everyone have done in the past 10 years and how few people have died.

    Too many people spend the whole flight as a gibbering wreck, before not giving a second thought to jumping into an unlicensed rickshaw at the other end with a driver who believes he's getting reincarnated.
