Why dont you just start a new thread about it guys! Time and a place. You got neither right. This was between Steve and Mark. I think bringin this this up now is out of order and unfair to steve. Fair enough i dont know whats gone on but thats between tO and steve. Shouldn't have been made public.

i agree.... only doing it to make him see and learn the hard way as he still hasnt learned yet. making sure he doesnt do it again.

dont worry, mark has made his point, which im glad he did, and took the opportunity well as i know its always been on his mind about rival competition etc and other events on the board...id be the same.

its done now though, and a little bit of fun made from it, and steve is learning, as im speaking to him right now.

well seeing as so many people want big events like Gk@Arena,would it not be possible for promise to stage a similar event,maybe not as big,but a fairly decent sized one...Thinking about a while back when shindig had that bash at baltic,that was an ideal size (imo) for a club this size.Plus it would get promise more recognition nation wide...as staging events like this.And might generate more of an income without going over the top like GK and GC.

just a thought.....

i dont think they should!!why go for a big event which might not be a success when youve got a weekly event that is a success??it could be a massive success but it could go horribly wrong too!!and plus everyone is loving promise at the minute so why change??

the events do wreck the weekly clubs!!and they should try and cut down cos they gona outdo themselves soon and no1 will go to them either!

ok i have just got in and have two mins to spare..i have not read the whole thread as i need to feed the bairn..but i would just like to say im sorry if i have caused problems by putting up this thread...i didnt look at how this event would effect the local nights in the long run....and i meant no disrespect to the promise team in any way at all!!

I sometimes go on the GK message board and i try to promte Promise to the Brum crew as much as i can

I try my hardest to get people from the GK board to promise,but they always say its too far away.Promise is on my signiture,my homepage,my reccomended site,and i might even change my username on their to get people up here to see what there missing.

People think iam on commision on the Gk board..lol

i dont see the big events stoppin now...cos they pull in the general public and not just clubbers.

wif the profile promise has would it not be possible to work with the clubs that do nites at the telewest in the same way that sundiss and good greef do?

most arena events are toss..theres never any atmophere!
the sundiss bit was the only good bit of the last GK. and all other BIG arena events ive been to have been a huge let down.

APART from the golden one i went to, ferry + tiesto played the most amazing sets....

the cream one we went to in b'pool was sooo bad! tiesto weas on 9-10!? WTF? totally missed him....played on the amusments for most of the night...

Agree. All arena events i have attended only two like, have had no atmosphere! GC@NEC was poop. Just couldn't get excited! I personally think promise's atmosphere is one of its best qualities! Even on less busier nights theres always that feel of electricity in the air that makes you go that extra bit mad!
