There is no way i will be there, i went to the last two and thought they were very average.

Did any one go to Sasha there?
Would be a better set out cos there were two decent sized propper rooms instead of one huge one and a lobby.

They wouldn't get as many people in though but it would be more of a Club atmosphere. But the gready fat cats wouldn't get there money!

The Sahsa one only didn't work cos he was shit for some reason.

I think all but one of the NEC events (3rd one) have worked OK.

I've been to one NEC and hated it - I've known people that have been to every1 and hated them.

I know few people who have enjoyed the nec events.

arena events just don't work - it brings out the dregs, they're too busy and theres never any atmosphere.

Yeah with the streets set up. They had bus stops and shop fronts which were actually bars. Not the bus stops. And had massage parlours MTV were there and had a little room with people dressed as old grannies givng fuckheads cups of tea and stuff. Had them flamenco dancer ladies lookin very fit! :D
Skateboarders doin tricks, bmx's doin tricks, breakdancers. Just a shame the sasha didnt perform when we really needed after tom stephan and lee burridge. Not sayin they played bad just needed to get a bit more lively which it didnt. But the set out was wicked. Had a good atmosphere. The only arean event that had so much promise but just missed being amazing.

How did ya exam go? i fuckin shit a brick when i saw the questions :spangled:

the majority of smiling people aren't clubbers, their once a year people who've just necked their first and last pill for that year.

of course they're smiling, they've got the bigg market 2 look forward 2.

    In my humble opinion yes.

I find happy smiley clubs immensly enjoyable (people kicking off at the right times, getting lost in the music, etc.) however @ big arena events most once a year clubbers are out to get trashed.... They often cause fights they always blow those fucking horns during the euphoric breaks... the club never kicks off on anthems and ur left dancing by yourself instead the tend to kick off on quality tunes like "rock the funky beats", I have very little in common with once a year clubers and find the events to busy too hot and full of people I class wankers :D

is this some knitting circle message board?

do both. Support Promise for the friday night with the top line there then GK aswell on the saturday. The only way these events are gunna get any better is with trial and error. No point slagging it off until afterwards, then u can complain about the sound system, the lobby 2nd room, the shirt-off charvas, etc...

no point wastiung 30 squid on an event I wont enjoy.

I don't pay money to see tina turner cos I wouldn't enjoy her concert...

I've gave gk@telewest 2 chances and thoroughly hated both experiences - why would I give them another chance.

I'm loyal to lots of clubs - but they're the clubs I enjoy :D

well, if u hated them that much - fair enough, i can't see it being massively different from the previous 2 to make it any better... it's just a different kind of event on our own doorstep and that can't be a bad thing... it shows they're trying.
