i was sayin he was "shit" because if i had said "i didnt like him very much and he was a poor DJ" it wouldn't have described exactly what i thought about him and could have led people to believe i simply thought he was a poor DJ, when infact i think he is absolute cack
well done for sticking up for your true djing hero, i would do the same if someone was slagging eddie or the judge off. but if you had a dj who you totally hate you would understand why we called him shit in the first place. even though now you would never call a dj shit for the simple reason not to be completely unintelligent?
please do not not slag off the judge because you will regret it. he never lets anyone have a bad night when you go and see him unlike mr picotto. he is not my fave just one of the djs who i will stand up for mate
ur right there... mr jools is deffo a crowd pleaser and entertianer... he plays the tunes 2 get the crowd going... imo picotto doesnt. he sticks to his style and plays what he wants which is fair enuff i guess.
kerry was shite, what are you on about. i really like her as well talk to her all the time and that. her first set at promise was class but she just didn't play well after tulip had been brilliant.
It might sound a bit stupid this, but i think stickin to his style is something to be admired in a dj. Playing just to the crowd and changing what u believe in doin says to me you havent got much confidence in your ability or your a bit weak willed. If your playin something and the crowd dont like it, then tough shit - u know its good and thats all that should matter, if they dont get it then thats their loss. Everyone knows what Picotto is gonna play. If u dont like it, dont go. Which is pretty much his attitude, hes not gonna change his set just to please a few people. Obviously ability to read the crowd is a skill but it shouldnt really be neccesary that often if someone knows what theyre doin.
Don't like Jules to be honest. Don't like the style of music he plays. Saw him over in Ibiza a while back and bored the t!ts off me. Would never say he's sh!t though, just not my thing. Agree with your point however, he is pretty good at working the crowd. I'd still rather go see Picotto than Jules as he has his own unique style rather than playing the same kind of set you hear from a lot of very mediocre DJ's.
LMAO! Just remembered about this poster that got signed by the man himself and AVB @ Gods @ Code in the summer!!! This is genuine, no bullsh!t!
