as i said he is still a specticle and also like i said he plays a lot of the old style trance that people listened to b4 ibiza and all that. everyone is used to this new high energy stuff parp stuff i aint dissing it cause i play it but its still good to see the old style being cained by djs like oakey. prime example PVD at creamfeilds played a lot of the old style melodic trance and it was the best set of the night oakey is being critisised because he releses tunes like staryeyed suprise which was a top ten hit and is makin him a mint. so his djing is and i think never has been his main interest in the music world. hid djin does give him a publicity boost and keeps his fans there but the new trance i different from the old.

At GC Summer Sound System he was superb but when i went to see him @ Crasher few weeks before i didnt think he played the best set ive heard but still was good - when he was on @ GKKK again from what i heard he was good - sayin that he is shit is wrong like coz for a bloke that has been @ the top for so long he is still selling out ! Ok to be honest if it was a choice id have the Oakey of 98/99 anyday as his sets that ive downloaded from there are nothing short of quality - he gets labelled shit now coz he aint playing the toss trance thats knowking around nowadays - it aint all shit like but its getting to that point which explains why he was so good in the day coz thats When Tranc Was Trance simple was really......
