    its weird certain words i say i sound geordie, others isound county durham & then for my sins there are certain words i say & i sound like a bloody mackem! :lol: :lol: :cry: :lol: :lol:

    e.g. i say school like a geordie but poor & poorly like a mackem! :confused: :think:

    i don't have an example of sounding like a county durham person! :dunce:

    I love the geordie accent! :love:

    When I met John, i was :love: all the time espesh 'cos he's got such a broard accent. He even types like he would talk!!


    One word i didnt know which pretty much all of you use on here is bairn ? (sp?) as in baby?!

    Other than that I think i pretty much can pick up the rest! :D

    One thing I find with people that aren't from Newcastle is the fact that they have trouble grasping the concept of "get wrong".

    I think the Posh Geordie accent on a lass (like Jill Halfpenny) is such a turn on but a shields rajee just aint it does sound common.

    I'm told I don't have a strong Geordie accent, just the dialect ;)

    And you mackems say 'book', 'school', 'curry' and countless other words really stupidly...

    To be honest, i kinda worked that one out myself ;)

    With it being used in the sentance like eg. "I got wrong off me mam for leaving my dirty knickers on the side!"

    I'm not going to think that his mum give him a medal for his excellent work ;) ;)
