Tenaglia and Groove Armada were absolutely awesome. Definitely among my top festival highlights.

    REPONSES FROM MARCO V

What’s your most memorable experience of the Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem?

It will be my first time at Summer Soundsystem so i really look forward to it.

What can we expect from you this year?

My new vinyl EP (Possible, but unlikely / Universal Enemy) is going to be relased next month as well my new Combinations 3 Album.

Who do you recommend as one to watch for 2007?

Rene Amesz, dutch progressive, tribal, house producer. very very good!

What has been your favourite gig over the last year?

Last weekend: the Ferrari Formula 1 party at the KL towers in Malaysia.

What is the funniest/most bizarre thing that’s happened to your whilst playing a gig?

Just recently: somebody grabbed a cd out of my cd wallet, i jumped over the dj booth and had to chase him over the dance floor.

Very funny and good exercise :)

Could you please post an interview with someone who isnt DJing/hasnt DJ'ed at the event in the past, someone who is not employed by gatecrasher and someone who isnt Pete Doherty who is looking forward to this "event"? I'd really like to know what kind of tit thinks this looks like a nice day out.

I was there at Lotherton Hall in '98, i felt an almost primal calling as i walked through the gates that day and instantly fell head over heels for that Gatecrasher magic. In the last nine years i've lovingly followed the lion up and down the country like thousands of other devotees, through the days of the Crasher Kids (& the days we were almost outlawed!), through most of the legendary sets from PVD, Hardwick, Bond, Picotto, Halliwell, Tiesto and all the others i was too twisted to remember. I've made friends with and talked bollox to loads of people and i've never met a more passionate crowd than at a Crasher event (anyone remember PVD@Notts. Ice Arena? Scott Project @ NEC? NUFF SAID!!)
Anyway, cut to the chase, what i'm saying is that come May 27th Lotherton hall is once again going to thunder to the sounds of the Dj Gods and we're all gonna make new friends, talk more codswallop and generally tear the fuckin roof off all over again and i, for one, can't wait.

    LONG LIVE GATECRASHER.

Sounds to me like "following the lion" is a close relative of chasing the dragon. It does also look suspiciously like it was written by someone working the event but what do I know? I'm talking a load of codswallop.
