    To my knowledge nothing could be done to promise without it being illegal i.e. everything has been protected and would need to be cracked first!!!

    Answer No.2

    It isnt really illegal to access someone’s computer if they have chosen to share their files whether it be by accident or not! But you could perhaps sue someone if they changed a file on your system! It would however be very hard to do so and prove its importance if you no longer had the correct and original copy of the document!
