Well i agree partially with you on something then.

I personally dont think our country should be part of an 'experiment' ran covertly against its supposedly democratically organised population. At no point was the electorate asked about their thoughts of having immigration floodgates opened to prop up the ageing population and to change the face of formally 'all white' towns and cities (particularly up north).

What i am completely AGAINST however, is negative emotions being turned on the poor people who DARED to want the best for themselves, as their own countries have gone to shit, frequently in part caused because of the shadowy hand of the west.

.... by the same token, it would be an outrage if hundreds of thousands of brits who basically pack up, fuck off and leave for spain, canada, OZ, NZ and all those countries ...... suddenly had swarms of locals telling them they were worse than dog shit.





I'm gonna go back on topic with this one, and not post the same old argument on here. Personally i think this protest is pointless, and given way too much air time as a means of drumming up hatred. The more notice we give to it, the more energy its given. But if these people are legal UK residents, and what they are doing is within the guidelines of what our legal framework allows .... then what can we do? its a democracy, not anarchy is it not?.

And thats a genuine question. I dont think its in any good taste taunting the locals of a town that has lost brave soldiers in battle.

There is a minority who come here to take advantage of the system, however the majority of people who settle here are law-abiding and want nothing more than to make something for themselves. They work hard, they pay their taxes and they contribute to society. None of that can be said about you...

If you own three houses, you'd only be paying council tax on all of them if they were all occupied by yourself or family members at least once every month and noone is paying rent. If you're renting them out, your tenants are liable for the council tax and they have to pay it, not you.

You don't have to pay council tax in most cases if the properties are vacant, although some councils insist on a retainer fee if this is the case.

As for being self employed, you'd be recording your income on a self-assessment form and sending it back to HMRC. There's no reason for you to need someone else's tax code unless you're on the fiddle. Half of our office is self-employed as contractors and none of them use a tax code to pay NI or taxes. And they all do it through the books.

Incorrect. If the properties are vacant you can get an exemption for up to six months, however if you're renting it out, your tenants are liable for the tax, not you. I've pointed that out 3 times and you still don't get it.

This gets you an exemption of up to one year only. To say you don't have to pay anything is a load of bull.
