@ HH DJ complaining about the quality of music that can be produced from FL "right... where's mi dyson... where's that standard kick... loop it a few times... add a 'vvuuurrrrr' noise... now... hmmm double the pitch... hang on - a bit faster won't hurt.... stick in sample from cult film - hopefully kinda drug related - SORTED"
a short list of pro trance producers that use or have used fl for production: shokk/flutlicht cosmicman/sundawner/matti laamanen lightworks/icone cosmic gate ryan g filo + peri yanave airbase octagen carl b genix 8 wonders pillow one/verny terry bones fred baker me
pretty impressive discography from a "lame" sequencer http://www.discogs.com/artist/Cosmic+Gate i'd still quite happily play their remix of urban train
You're mad! After that Fire Wire crapfest I wouldnt dare touch owt by Cosmic Gate Oh and god forbide me be allowed my own opinion of what software I like and what I dont
people were only asking for an insight from you as to WHY you think it's bad! "cause it's got a lame name" ain't very helpful. are the tools windows difficult to use? is the sequencer poor? does it have crap effects? will it not run very well on a laptop balanced on your knee while upto your stalking duties?
well... you did say: so it's not even a quantifiable opinion or argument as; a, you haven't used it and b, there is a series of many successful producers who have used it as a primary sequencer. at the end of the day when it comes to music production, it's not what you use, it's how you use it. for example, james holden uses buzz, a freeware sequencer that takes painstaking amounts of time to use, but look how horizons turned out
Thats pathetic, theres absolutely no need for the personal digs at me I dont like it, I never have. Simple.
jesus it kicked off in here. LOL I have a copy now. So thanks you lots. Fruity is the boy for using Vazz.. Naughty Noises here we come
