Don't think I have ever been to an unfriendly club in my life, I always find most people are quite chatty.

My lad used to go there all the time, he's always going on about it, think i might have to venture down there sometime!!

But from all of the different nights i've been too i think promise has the best atmosphere as long as it's not Dangerous Dave or any one else that brings out the charvs!!

I prefer Inside Out, But when we went for Tiesto last month it was good but the whole night was made between 4-6am when all the freaks came out and proceded to prance about for a few hours....we were in stitches

Tall trees is friendly on the dancefloor but in general theres a lot of wankers get in and stand round the outside...a place that size couldnt be filled with all friendlies though...

Shindig does indeed attract an older crowd of pseudo - rajis, minus the dress sense but with all the attitude and sporting 18 inch arms, probs due to their being full blown teenage charvs back in the halcyon days of house. However, idiots occur in all walks of life and substrata of club culture, and I think the 19 year old charvers in promise who frequently ask me on are a lot worse, if only because they feel the need to assert themselves with NO provocation a lot of the time.

There are a LOT more clubbers at Shindig too, as opposed to beer boys ( can't think of a better term than that ).

Tossers sums them up nicely i find :)

(Dont like calling them beer boys...cos that kinda slates people who are clubbers but only drink;))

I went to PaSSion for PvD a while back. Club itself was mint but that night was one of the worst clubbing nights I've ever had!!! The place was over sold to a dangerous level which totally spoilt it. People were getting shoved all over the place but no one had anywhere to move to. There were some Crasher fuckwits there too who were pissing a lot of people off by prancing round & arseing about which didn't help when people were already agitated by how busy it was! I wanted to jump into the car and drive back to Birmingham and go to Sundis instead! It's a shame though, can imagine the place being a good night out usually!

Speaking of which, the atmosphere at Sundis used to be class but some of the venues let it down! We went to the Academy for the 5th birthday one November and it was amazing! The place was sold out but there was still room to move. We went a month later and there were only about 300 people there and it was terrible! The Academy is about 2000 capacity so you can imagine how empty the place looked! :)

Firefly @ the ball rooms in nottingham was the worse place ever staff wise. clubbers were sound but the saem were fucking horrible.

we got searched on the way in, which to be fair is nowt spesh for big nights. but this search was more like a man rape.

finally gets upstairs after having the white gloves up me arse.

all the staff were proper dodgy. couldnt trust none of em cos they were all sellin drugs.

there were massive gangs outside the club aswell.

everyone thought there was gonna be a drive by and apparently according to a gay clubber who was all over me mate like a wet denim jacket, two black lads were fighting so they took one round the back and shot him.

apart from the drugs death and sexual abuse the music was mint :D
