anyway this mornings rager was brought on by northern electric who I paid to have a new electrical service put in and who got it surveyed by Balfour Beaty, sub contracted to CE Electric (whoever they are) who sub contracted it to FREEDOM electrical (whoever they are) who tell me I can't have it done unless I bore a 2 inch hole through the two foot thick solid stone foundations to put in a piece of plastic pipe to 'protect the cable' because the existing 1 inch hole with the existing cable coming through it is too small to get the plastic in because the regulations have changed :evil: :evil: :evil:

I just feel that we are being regulated to insanity

Why dont you just sell your house and all your belongings and become a 'traveller'

I did once. It's very tiring. And it must be illegal by now.
