Ha ha, it was probably studio mixed but Tiesto will have picked the tracks and the order of them, it used to happen alot with Gods cd's etc:)

or maybe muzik magazine heard the quality of mixing on all the magik cds, the isos cds, the revolution cds and about everything else he has brought out and thought they would let the computer mix it!

although it seems to be getting rarer and rarer, i have actually heard him mix sets well before, so why he releases cds where the mixing is terrible is beyond me!and im not just on about the live ones!

but he has still made some of the best tunes ever, and gave me some of my best nights ever so i won't complain too much!

I agree, he's never dissapointed when I have seen him play and some of the live sets I have from him are class, I have a recent 3 hour one from him and a couple of the mixes drift out a bit but overall the mixing is class.

his magik cds are live so it is understandable (to an extent) the mixing will not be 100%, but they pretty bad sometimes!

dunno if his isos cds are live or not, even if they are, they is no excuse fr it being that bad!

even on his revolutions cd, which is the one you were on about, a couple of the mixes go totally off!

btw i love all these cds!great tunes!and they would be perfect if they were mixed well!

Was that the Fergie one where he over-flanged the CD a touch?
I also thought it was gash!

    tiesto.....................

he can mix amazingly when he wants.....

that radio oslo 2 part set he did is a prime example of how good he can be. all the mixes, especially in the proggier section, are spot on. They are all perfectly in key, and he mixes so early, and keeps them in for ages.....it sounds amazing...

the mixing on the live majik CDs can be a bit poor, but they are live, and probably would have sounded good on a lound system, but when they are on CD you can tell which ones dont work that well. As mixing on a loud system is quite alot different than at home doing a mix CD.

Everytime i have seen him he has rocked it! The tunes he plays are spot on, which is the main factor for me....
