It is a well known fact that these things are a complete and utter scam. The reason they can afford to do this is because there is always someone losing out at the bottom, many times over - by the very nature of the scheme. This is just another online scam.

Just found an amazing online offer. Buy an "online service", get 16 mates to do the same and one of you gets a FREE Ipod shuffle.

Not a scam like, obviously. It's for the people.

The bit where for every 1 person who gets an Ipod, 15 others have to sign up and "buy a service" (according to others in this thread, I didn't bother getting to that stage).

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the numbers increase exponentially(?) whether you have to referr 4, 6 or 16 people, meaning that yes you may very well get an Ipod, but many people including the friends you are referring are going to lose out and it all goes to add to a nice bank balance that this company will be raking in.

Not only have these schemes been around for years, inundating people with junk mail, not sending the items and raking in the money, but they are variations of pyramid schemes which are outlawed throughout the world and any fool can see that.

It says that you "get a free Ipod shuffle".However more people have not recieved an Ipod than have, by the very nature of the scheme and therefore the very offer of getting a free ipod itself is flawed. and yes you do pay money for the ipod, hence the marketting involved with the Ipod and not the shit sub-standard services that no one gives a shit about and threads like this popping up all over the internet entitled "get a FREE ipod. THIS IS NOT A SCAM. Please click my link".

I highly doubt that the person who started the website did so with the intention of "bringing free stuff to the UK" and offering a load of Ipods to anyone who wanted one as the slogans suggest, as some sort of added bonus for partaking in his floroushing buisness enterprise and getting these amazing free services.

Rest assured he'll be sitting on a large pile of cash pointing and laughing at any square eyed goon on the internet who thought they'd really found something special and instead ended up with some shit internet service, no fucking ipod and a barrage of pension scheme flyers coming through the door.

You haven't been scammed if you get the Ipod, but as a whole the offer is a scam. For every person who gets the Ipod, more people don't get one, yet pay money which makes it a scam in my eyes. Obviously someone who gets it won't see it as such.
