Again this debate crops up for like the fourth time i have had sum very special nights in foundation and met alot of my friend today through foundation but if you have a serious look around town you tell me a club that compares to digital for technology etc yeah sure foundation had the old underground feel to almost on the ilegal rave trip (old wharehouse full of sweaty ppl) but we haved moved onto the 21st century and so has clubbing. Now with the cosmics opening we have 2 sweet venues with sum qulity nights on may the debate continue

    Rubbish

This message board and a bizillion others were and have been open for years.

All this stuff about 'internet clubbing' etc etc is a load of bollocks invented by promoters whos nights arent succesful because they arent good enough

People dont go out to clubs as much these days because they simply have other things to do. Combine this with later bars and also the change in drug culture and you have your answer. Plus a lot of people on this board are passed their clubbing hay day and have discovered that there is more to life than going out and getting brain damaged every weekend. ;)

Anyway I like Digital but I wish you would sort out the bogs because it does my fucking head in when i have to trot up and down the stairs every 5 minutes to go for a slash. Plus its far too superstar-dj focused for my liking but I can understand that alot of people want the dj to be in their view the whole time

I thought Foundation was ok but the layout was a bit boring.

Me and my mate have been going out for years and digital feels souless and badly layed out.

The Cosmic ballroom is a much better space and thats basically a mini Foundation.

If clubbing in newcastle is dead then why was the dance stage at the green festival the busy than its ever been and night like detox in different and more exciting venues selling out.

Poeple to me are just bored of the superclub blueprint,

Promoters need to go back to basics a bit more and throw a party with a bit more about its location and atmosphere than superstar dj's and overpriced beer.
