my dad got majorly fucked over by his step-dad when his mum died, as he refused to let him even have sentimental stuff like photos and toys from his childhood. in the end my dad simply asked to be allowed to have his mums wedding band from the marriage to his real dad which had been in his family for generations. the fucking cunt turned around and refused and told my dad he had given it to his own daughter.

yeah some people are just plain scum . they get jealous of kids from previuos marriges . I have first hand experience of this . I say some mind as not all are like that !

I hate it because since she married Dad she never worked, he worked his arse off. Now shes got an absolutely gorgeous paid off new house, new car, new fittings in every part of the house. I got nothing from the will but it seemed that she'd made him change his will 3 years ago from me getting stuff to not getting anything unless both her and my half sister died. I'm not arsed about money its more that I'm not even an equal to my sister. It really hurt.

I asked for his watch and records which I got but then have asked for another thing which she said my 10 year old sister wanted, though now I've since found they're in the loft. Shes got rid of nearly all his stuff. She dropped off a pile of "junk" of his at my house saying she thought I'd want some of this



I think its a tough call as most people at a certain age don't really think about dying so forget to update stuff. Dad died suddenly and hios will was pretty random apparently, it didn't look like it had all been updated etc
