Do you know anything about the risks from anaesthetic and infection that your misguided and ridiculous cultural views place upon babies?

Medical reasons: no problem.

The risk may be low, but it's still very much present, and the more unnecessary procedures you do, the more likely it is that they will occur.

If I started a religion tomorrow, and said that all new born girls had to have boob jobs, people would be outraged......but noones allowed to speak up against circumcision??

More and more surgeons are refusing to do them. It's becoming less common in America, thankfully. People are free to masturbate without the constraints of lube. Common sense is beginning to prevail.
