Apparently - you are allowed to mention a fixture as a "Pre-game review" and that posting the fixture AFTER the game is also fully acceptable.

it's all the time. the fixtures have been copyrighted for ages, but they must be running low on finds lately so they are trying to cash in

It doesn't particulary. But do you really think it requires an announcement and a sticky in two different forums, and the threat of banning someone?

If you read the link that GeekUK posted above you'll see the people who own the rights write to you first if they spot an infringment. Or you could just delete them if someone posted them?

But anyway, it doesn't particularly bother me, was just curious as to why you're being so heavy-handed.

it was because basically what i was being told about this was that message boards were being shut down etc because of it.

all this seems to be now a bit far fetched. but there was no harm with a little over reaction.
