This comment is unbelievable. They dont match the BPM for you at all. They give you the bpm of the track, but not to a decimal point scale and still needs to be adjusted by ear to make sure it is actually beat matched. Sometimes it gets it wrong if the bass of the track is quite punchy. You didnt even mention that the djm 500, 600, 800 all have bpm counters which would suggest you no NOWT about djing. Even after all of that, i garauntee he doesnt use the counters.
If Eddie wanted to use vinyl he would, but the fact that not every track is released on vinyl, most tracks only go to download, therefore he couldnt play most of the tracks he wanted to.

i think what she means before she engaged her cranium - preset bpm on cd's,on you go, 134 on one deck - 134 on the other , off you go.

it has been knowen for quite well knowen dj's to do this.

the best i've ever seen of eddie was when he was using records and he scratched for what felt like hours....and you know what, it sounded clean and crisp and well put together....a million times better than some stupid special effects and some characterless cd's.

it's a matter of choice, choose to properly impress people with pure talent, or choose to pull the wool over peoples eyes and look like your doing something really impressive when infact your not.....just unfortunately some people cant see beyond the wool.

if you want a track on vinyl you can get it....even if it means pressing it yourself

i have enough knowledge thank you, its not about me being a better dj than eddie i never professed to be....and you dont have to be a good dj to be able to recognise a good dj when you see one thats just ridiculous. I am a firm believer n giving credit where credit is due, and if i go and see a dj who plays off cd's that impresses me, then i will say so.....i'm yet to be impressed.....
