he went down in my estimations a long time ago when he spent all night at tall trees playing with the effects unit and not spending enough time concentrating on his fucking terrible mixing. Selling tickets off the back of his reputaton from years gone by......before anyone says i dont know what i'm talking about, i think i do....i used to love him and respect him as ana excellent dj, then he got the 'ego' and his talent went out the window!

and to think i enjoyed starting the eddie eddie eddie during marco v set at foundation. Glad to hear people have kept this up n my absence at aevents all over the world....thanks

Eddie in digital will be a great night i think, and usually when he plays at fire it up he is more consistently good than he is at other nights.

this has potenial to be a mint night depending on who else is on the line up.

So your claiming he got an ego which is what ultimately made his mixing/talent go out the window? Lack of practice maybe yes but by all accounts you really dont sound like you know what your on about.

Selling Tickets off a reputation from years ago... Eddie was knowhere near on the level years ago to what he is now UK wide & Internationally, if anything Tickets will be sold on his current reputation im guessing?

Mixing wise im not sure when the last time you went to see him was but you cant fault the bloke, he's seamless. If you need evidence check any of his weekly R1 shows that ran for nearly 3 years all merely done on CDJ's & a DJM800, oh and any of his 5 Essential Mixes, 4 of which were done live.

Music wise he has went a lot more house orientated which hasn't sat right with some of his fan base as they expect him to come on & thrash it out like the 'good old days of bosh' etc... but to say he's terrible is laughable!
The guys only 28 years old & built up a career which has enabled him as a DJ to play the best gigs/festivals he chooses UK/Worldwide, he has secured the best summer dates a trance DJ could ask for & his 'Fire it Up' brand he has also built up from scratch has given him the capability to push other DJ's/Producers through the ranks which have also seen them too build up a pretty tidy career, but yeh your right he's shit, talentless, cant mix.... what time you up for work in the morning again?

Boxing day will be quality for anyone who likes the music, Eddie aint been up here for 3 years, there'll be a wkd buzz about it & no doubt the place will be jumpin'

I have to agree with most of what your saying though, someone who's made a success of themselves the way he has can't be labeled as having no talent because that's why he's successful.

I'm not into the music anymore but most of my friends are so I get dragged to see him from time to time and even when i was into him i could never say he was slack mixing wise to the point i'd highlight it as a weakness with him, granted on the last few occasions i've seen him he's been well below par musically.
