    Its alright there, just dont venture to far down stanhope street!lol!

    oh and the brighton indian takeaway, 2nd to none, close to all the shops and buses, cant go wrong really!;)

    Is Komal balti still on Stanhope Street? Thinking about it I would recommend there rather than the Brighton Grove one.

    yeah thats still there, went there about a month ago, dont think they have a alcohol licence so you take your own drink in with you and they chill it for you to drink with your meal, you could get absolutly w@nkered in the place coz theres no real limit to what you take in!:D

    fenhams good, dilstons a good location. only probs you'll get is little kids being mouthy, reckon your bug enough to scare em off though!

    The Meadow, one of the best reasonably priced Chinese takeaways I've had. There are a couple of pizza places, but I haven't tried those, and there's Brighton Grove and Komal Balti which are both excellent.

    Fuckloads of takeaways, pubs, shops, right next to gateshead and newcastle, metrocentre and team valley, soooo many buses, fit student lasses, fuck-off big park for roller-skating, leisure centres, etc etc. It is the place to be. :D

    Oh, forgot the best bit: I live there. :cool2:

    I lived there for a year... our house was a grotty, dark little shite hole but I've deifinitely been in some nice ones.

    Only downside to Fenham is I don't live there anymore.
