    the godfather without a doubt, thought it was so much better than the film.

    im reading a wicked book atm, 'adventures in wonderland', all about the history of house music.
    starts off all about larry levan, paradise garage etc, then onto detroit and the techno, then northern soul in this country

    currently reading about the dawn of acid house, shoom, spectrum, rampling, oakenfold etc.
    great book

    lol. I just don't c the point in reading a fictional book, aqs u don't gain anything by it IMO. apart from puncuation etc...

    i've read it bout 3 or 4 times, got the film, seen stage play, got the poster :p

    got the book at home if you wanna borrow it.


    and another one, Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer (sp?) - eye witness story of disaster on Everest in '96 that killed 11 ppl in one day. Harrowing to say the least

    I do watch some programs but find mutch of it 2b Mediocha crap!

    that’s where im from:D I ve still not read that book Si, I ve got a copy off someone at home, apparently theres another book based on the same event, but from another person's recollections, well worth a read I ve been told.

    Mayb your rite but i'd rather read an more educational book in my spare time, IMO i @ least gain sum more knoledge:D

    yep there is, Death Zone by Matt Dickinson, but he was climbing from the north side at the same time, then later on The Climb by Anatoly Boukrev, who was the pro guide for one of the bunch who died. Boukrev's account are fairly different from Krakauer's, who blamed Boukrev for some of the deaths.

    I agree with you, I'm not into that much stuff that comes on either, i'm making my point very badly here. :dunce: I just can't get my head around you dismissing novels because they aren't real.

    Something being real doesn't make it automatically good. Fiction can be amazing. Lord of the rings isn't real but it's still a damn good book.

    I agree with that, i have read the Lord of the rings and it is far better than the film. But i'd rather read a Fiction book:D

    started readin it on holiday one year but had to go home before i finished but it was a really good read. :D

    its about that guy who was behind enemy lines and got captured in the last gulf war. Andy McNabb i think hes called. its all true as well which makes that extra bit more shocking :eek: :D
