Im not saying Newcastle wont be up there with Man utd, Arsenal Liverpool etc. You shud be when you have spent the money you have. I think your just being silly saying we will be in the relegation zone by christmas, i dont think we will come straight back up, playoffs maybes. Doesnt sound to good but least im being honest.

Seemed very vocal where I was,I will give you a rundown of some of the songs: 'Lets all laugh at Sunderland','Worst team in history','We'll meet again','We beat the scum 1-0','Your so shit its unbelievable ''Going down, going down',Geordies in Milano,Sunderland going downio','You couldnt sell your tickets' & 'You should stuck with Monkey'. Selective memory has always been strong mackem attribute.

But failing that a picture says a thousand words did you see the hundreds of 'Lets all laugh at Sunderland' banners?

There was probably only about 10'000 if that left in the ground at full time that day !!!

These Makems have a tendency to leave at Half Time or not long after kick off in the 2nd half

    Save SAFC

    Nicked fromNUFC.com

Five suggestions to help the mackems through their "financial restructuring":

(A joint effort by a number of equally small-minded people of our acquaintance):

    1. Gateshead to send their first team to Stadium of Plight for a benefit match.

    2. Alan Shearer to stage a charity talk-in at the Crowtree Leisure centre.

    3. Kevin Kyle to be rented out as a mobile phone mast (NB: this will not affect his availability for Scotland national side)

    4. Mackem players to be allowed to sleep on Metro platforms at night free of charge.

    5. Unsold executive boxes at the Stadium of Plight to be rented as accommodation for asylum seekers (NB: home office anti-cruelty legislation demands the curtains to be closed while matches are in progress.)

Remember...that £1 you give could be enough to bring running water and sanitation to a family in Hylton Castle.

It probably was but....when we played u at St James we sang our hearts out all game (even tho it was the worst performance i have EVER seen by a Sunderland team!) but most NUFC fans couldn't hear us (apparently). It was probably the same situation at the SOL.

He is! What he lacked in talent he made up for with effort, he was one of our most consistent (to beat u to it, consistently shit! ) performers every season he played for us.
