i've found there's a community and feeling around detox that seperates it from your traditional club night - they're not out to rob u of whatever cash you've got then skull fuck you. all the clubs in newcastle are priced as high as possible be it for drinks or entry - and we have no choice but to pay it - and time after time they treat their punters like shit - from foundation to digital to the cosmic.

yeah, i'm biased cause i'm mates with melt but the reason is because i like his reasons for doing it.

the fun for me went out of clubbing when it turned into 'the place to be scene and cool' cause i know X, Y or Z - detox doesn't take itself so seriously like the rest of the mainsteam dance briggade
