at the end of the day people are all different and havedifferent likes and dislikes, if you dont like something you dont do it....thats just the way it is!

I generally dont go clubbing in town cos i think its full of poncey cunts thinking their better than the next person, or cooler than the next person....but with as much interesting conversation as trainspotter who's just spotted the Flying Scotsman for the first time.....

At the end of the day i dont want to be restricted to the few good club nights that newcastle has to offer (i'm struggling to think of 1).....i want to go out and have a laugh, end of story and detox does this for me

And given that its not full of charvers, there are a few (like anywhere else) but the event sells out every single time....there is never any trouble.....and everyone has a good time.....doesnt this tell you something

JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING ISN'T TO YOUR TASTE, IT DOESNT MAKE IT SHITE!

I'd like to see most of you muppets do what detox do and pull it off every single time, without ripping everyone off big time!!!

    WELL SAID!!!! :D

Since promise went, i've been to the town but a hand full of times! Digitals just not my cup of tea! Too clean and poncey.

I liked the industrial feel in foundation, and promise provided good music

correct me if I am wrong but wasnt this post from spence to me

so I think you should all do 1.

end of the day I am replying to people's petty insults about DETOX from people who havnt even been.

re: the bullied comment I have to laugh , that couldnt be further from the truth

and the tulip question is irrelevant, the majority of promise residents have never played detox and never will play detox

basically there are a lot of people who like what detox do and most of them are individuals who arent swayed by fashion or people who judge /rate themselves based on how much they just spent on their haircut or the size of the house they live in

but hey !!! feel free to keep bumping the thread and basking in the self belief that getting "bites" from us is some how reaffirms the already over inflated opinions of your selves. At the end of the day it merely keeps the detox name at the top of the pile of threads on here

    so thanks to the planks

    :)

The internet / messageboards can generate a lot of business for clubs so i dont necessarily think its killing them

no it aint , because, you lot prefer to talk about it and diss the efforts of others rather than go out and do something different

Do you read or just type? :dunce:

There is no big deal about being wrong you know? You could just say 'ok fair enough I was wrong'.

Go on, give it a try.

You can direct that comment at 10, possibly 20, people here at most.

Out of a club capacity of 1400 do you honestly the people on here's opinions are changing the world?

    Grow up.

alot of buisness for internet clubbers in my eyes......i dont go clubbing, basicaly cos im far to buzzie,so im not internet clubber(thank fuck)...but the way people go on about this night that night better than the next night makes you not wont to go out any more, far to many clicks, who wont talk to you 'online' if your not in there click or go to there fav night week in week out...thats my opinion like

bring back the 'illegal rave',o i forgot, its already started in the south again, thank fuck for that, moble numbers and wild goose chases..

 Maybe so at the end of the day people who havent been to a detox event cant really form an opinion on it

Look at the recent clubbers to join the detox massive

Baxter first came to the Castle event - hasnt missed 1 since

C-tine etc - came to the garden of Eden there opinions of the event certainly were an eye opener

basically if people like it they GO

if they dont they DONT GO

but to dismiss something without even seeing what its all about

    is just plain ridiculous

all that matters is that the people that go have a good time
