I find it incredible that the right seem to be up in arms about how wonderful the whole 'Bush Won' thing is. Personally im amazed that nearly HALF the voters wanted Kerry in and hence the same amount have someone running their country who they actually dont want in power - SOME VICTORY EH!

There seems to be a policy of the ends justifying the means when it comes to right wing politics - and when anyone from the more left side of things introduces ideas such as 'due process' or 'consultation periods' they are dismissed instantly.

interestingly the whole media circus has escalated to a point where the pro war people are going on about how bush was an 'action taker' and somehow came to our aid at the right time - I gotta say thats probably the worst case of mass brainwashing ive ever had the misfortune to be an adult to notice.....

Fact of the matter is that we are now fighting a war for reasons which are completely the opposite of the ones we were sold, which were that Saddam hussain was a threat to world peace, but now we're fighting a war with who?!? The Iraq people themselves now. Since when did the war on terror extend to iraq eh? IT DIDNT - WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING TERRORISTS!

What a world we live in eh - guided to the voting booths with Bush and Blair reminding us about the 'terror' we face, while we send our sons and daughters to die in a war we were lied to about and that had nothing to do with terrorism anyways.

You might argue that Saddam Hussain was an evil dictator and had to be removed anyways (which is irrelevant and not the reason we were sold the war) but if we're gonna go after countries like those, you should chalk up Saudi on your hitlist next eh? Somehow i dont think so......
