its hard to explain, but hebrew words do not work the same as english words for example sdr is made up of the constenants:

    sammer
    daled
    resh

and looks like the top word (right to left 4 letters)

SDR means order, so a prayer books is given the vowels i & u to become SIDDUR but the spelling of the word remains SDR, there are many hebrew words which relate to order like SEDDER... basically the words don't translate to perfect english but we can extract there meaning from their constenants.

This is very hard to explain, but the language doesn't function like our language - its an ancient and complex script and to read Torah you need to read it in Hebrew.

I still have a long way to go and never once professed to be a linguistic master... but I have an understanding and I have guidance from those that are masters of the word.

of course... there are hundreds of translations... I have two.

However they are not accurate and are poor immitations... to best understand you need to read it in Hebrew :D

i feel like i'm chasing my tail.

you really are the most dense gobshite ever to be shat into civilisation.

its funny how most racists in this country seem to be of the same knuckle dragging braindead ilk, unable to argue a valid point... how people like you are allowed to breed is beyond me.

funny thing is your hero hitler wanted to wipe out mental retards aswell so you would have been first in line for the gas chamber, which makes you an even bigger hypocrtical idiot. :D

see they've decided to drop the 25% other faith requirement for new faith schools. So I guess we'll be heading for more ghettos filled with people who know nothing of their fellow citizens culture and beliefs

You sound like a UKIP voter.

You dont' see drama school kids segregating themselves from society and plotting to blow up trains from their little middle class ghettoes, nor do you find farmers or art students.... Specialist schools don't teach segregation - they merely provide their pupils with an alternative education.

Faith schools have existed in the UK since the dawn of the british education, there has never been a problem with religious people splintering off and creating ghettoes where they are oblivious to the outside world.... The proposition was sheer lunacy from the start and this is the reason the government have jumped off this embarrassing bandwagon.

UKIP voter  I thought forks and I were 'too left wing for our own good?'

The proposals as the government had put them are no great loss imo.

I disagree with you comparing arts/religion as causes of adversity though - the historical precedents would suggest that religion is a far more potent justification for conflict than 'drama'.

A rabbi has just been on bbc1 saying that he prefers to send his kids to a standard school as he says to love your neighbour u need to know your neighbour. he said he would rather have his kids sitting next to a muslim, walkin home with an atheist so that his kids got to know them and they got to know his kids. this way they can understand each other and respect peoples beliefs and faiths.

his view, which is apparently the view of the masses (mine aswell) faith schools cause more segregation in society.

he sounds like a putz ;)

faith schools have never caused segregation historically... what are you basing this assumption on?

The vast majority of segregated muslims in the UK didn't attend faith schools.

i'd base it on common sense. u always get competition and banter between schools, whether faith or not, so its only logical that the religion of different schools will add to any distance between the pupils from them. this will in turn affect the views of those pupils on the others' religious beliefs.
