Of course I'm prepared to look further afield. I just don't add all 15million friends requests, from people I don't know, just because I can - like I used to on Myspace.

If I meet people in person, or get on with people on places like the board over a period of time for example, fair play. I've met a few people I now consider very good mates that way :)

All I'm saying is that if you purposefully go out to look for new people over the internet (aside from DJ's that you might like), then isn't that a bit wierd?

"MySpace Film: A Place For Filmmakers"

I beg to differ, as I can upload better quality and longer videos to Facebook.

Facebook takes videos up to 300MB and 20 minutes long, whereas MySpace only allow 100MB or 10 minute videos.

Saying that there is a bigger Filmmaker network on MySpace and it's good for reaching other like minded people, but that video upload crack is just shit.

Always thought MySpace was shite to be honest. I hate the non standard layouts, the fact that you can put your own background on etc so you've often got no fucking chance of actually reading the page. Absolutle pile of shite.

Facebook should be careful with mandatory additions though, it will start to affect older PCs/slower connections soon enough. The chat is decent like.

I love the "ignore all" feature for application requests etc but I still think there needs to be a privacy option to just block all application requests altogether.

I like the no music method on facebook. I don't want to load someones page and get forced to listen to some shite RnB record.

The underlying platform of Facebook just pisses on MySpace to be fair.

Im glad there isnt any music on it, it does my head in when you go on someones myspace page and some shite song starts playing. I dont really browse peoples profiles on facebook anyway, just have a look at the pics of people I aint seen in ages and thats it. Songs and layouts would just make it even slower at loading up.
