I might be bringing another two people - If so i would seriously be considering doing one of those 'collect tickets on the door' things.

Believe me - the last thing you want to do is stand in a typical fabric queue ..... never in a million years.

Easily the busiest ive ever seen Fabric - the place was absolutely RAMMED .. RAMMED!

In fact, it was wierd since basically we went right to the back of room 2, stayed there, and aside from a single trip to the toilets and a few to the bar, that was it - Never got a feel for the club like i usually do when i go on trashed club wandering missions.

Craig Richards was pretty much on top form that night, massively better than last time i heard him play - I had brought along 2 american 'friends' with me to join me, orbit and his lass and even though they were more used to hip hop clubs in the southern states, even I thought 'christ, this is SOOOOOO minimal, that even the most obsessive fan would have a hard time enjoying this' ....... basically, it was impossible to work a single track out from the next - Brilliant!!!

Misc (live) were a change in pace from richards 3 hour squelch a thon with some techier stuff..... and i had only 15 minutes of Holdens 4-6 set (which idiot decided to put him on then) before i had to leave to further anglo american relations .....

..... Strange, different night for me with a slow start but i really enjoyed it tbh - BOOZE only!!!! Good to see ya Orbit!

Craig Richards    :worship:

Went mainly to see Holden, but i have to say Richards absolutely fucking rinsed that club. Totally different to his normal stuff. By far the best set i have ever heard him play. Everyone else jumps on the minimal bandwagon, and he sounded like he had jumped off and re-invented himself. Some chunky chunky stuff, but as fucked up and different as ever.

Was totally knackered from the night before, so only lasted till 430 and therefore only got 30 mins of Holden. Was sounding good though. Unbelievably it got even busier in Room 2 when he came on. The place was just fucking rammed.

Misc (Live) were excellent too. Never heard of them, but was very impressed.

Had one visit only to Room 1. Dont even know who was on! Didnt catch any of Francois K (who started at 330), even though i had wanted to.

    Top night, as always.

Matt, i never saw you. Unsurprising seeing how busy Room 2 was. Though at one point just before i left i said hello to a lookalike of yours. He was completely baffled when i started goin on about this board, Washington, etc.

I was there like vin,it was rammed though so not surprised we did'nt bump into eachother!

Fabric is class like,my first time there. Got there about 10 and had a wander round before it filled up,loadsa mad cubbie holes with seats and even a couple of beds!! Some right nutters in there including german monkey boy who kept swinginging off the sprinkler pipes!!

Luciano esse warmed up nicely with some minimal techy stuff ok but nowt special.

Craig Richards:eek:  Totally agree with brid/orbit ,he was class!! I knew he was good but he blew me away!! Played some proper wonky stuff.

Misc(live) were quite good, some proper evil noises came out there laptop like.

Holden came on about 4ish and was class. He played quite few a tunes off 'at the controls' (lazy fat people 'big city',wate lilly'lottotron reboot',Trans am'cold war'(war is stupid mix),Black strobe'nazi trance fuck off'(holden mix),Holden'lump') then in his last hour loadsa stuff id never heard before, some glitchy techno to finish with. He played till 7 and the room was still rammed!!!

    Top night.

    Holden and Richards:worship:

him and Burridge are the 2 most important people in that kind of music imo

they were playing West Coast before everyone else

they were playing Electro before everyone else

they were playing Minimal before everyone else

what they are playing now is what everyone will be playing in 2 years time

    fact

Should definately scare the backback wearing glowstickers out of clubs then - no vocals, no breakdowns, no melodies .........
