Digital was fucking rammed, I had a good night. Tulip was class, Marcel Woods was okay and Lashes actually sounded okay too but hammered the classics.

Good to meet Wallyjumblat and Ruth.

Also I can't believe Ash met DJSEANBROWN who was on a whitey in the toilets.

It's a much better venue full stop, i can't stand the cosmic ballroom, the sound system sounds horrific when trance is played through it.

    i would say
    about

70% of the crowd were new students

10% of the crowd were beer boys

20% of the crowd were old promise faithful

in the first week of term and considering DIGITAL have sponsored the freshers week its hardly rocket science that it would be busy especially with LASHES on

TULIP- canny warm up , at times totally immense, once or twice went a but dull

MARCEL WOODS- well have to agree with everything pete and rossy said to be fair

total anthem basher, fairly cheesy tunes, i would say very overated

also not totally shocked that the guy would play about 4 of his own songs BUT come on he played one of them twice!!!!

differest remixes of that activation track i think

talk about blowing your own trumpet

    THOUGHT lashes was distinctly average

but all in all Id be amazed if THEY DIDNT do this night again

better than junior g , but not as good as promise of old

yeah but the upstairs is so much better, so why do they keep it closed

its a positive move forward that digital are allowing nights there that have lisa lashes on, this time last year , they would have laughed in the face of anyone who suggested putting lashes on at digital

but you and rossy were right about woods like

    distinctly run of the mill

    1st tune was good like

Well aparently it was just a one off, so if tulip organised it he probably wanted downstairs as busy as possible for himself and the others for more of an atmosphere.
But aye I'm not a fan of woods, I just don't like the production in his tracks lol theres not enough going on soundwise for me :)
