Well it wasn't a bad night - as people have said it started out a tad banging which I wasn't expecting when I walked through the doors not long after it had opened!

But no-one failed to impress and I had a good night, not the best, but still good - nice to see some of the old faces and also got some toilet banter going with some random guys which was a laugh!

And yeah - those freshers in the green t-shirts don't know what they let themselves in for, ha! Saw them all queuing outside and I wondered if they knew what kind of music it was and how much they were going to pay to get in!

    Good night!

Everyone played good sets in my opinion. I really enjoyed it upstairs as well, i only saw 15 mins of Matt Hardwicks set coz i went upstairs for abit of a breather and ended up staying there for the remainder of Nicky Mann + Paul Bonnick set. (at least i think it was them lol, playing head 2 head)

JOOF was a suprise to me because i have never heard a set played like it, the only tune i recognised was a mix of binary finary (i think it was anyway)

It was good to see a couple of familar faces as well

This was the best evolve yet in my opinion. The only downside was those "euphoric laxatives" that Rossy gave me, I dont think I've ever done quite so many come up poo's in my life. It's a good job I mastered the art of hovering or I would have been covered in piss

The only thing underground last night was John 00 Fleming and his spiritual form of underground pleasure Trance.

Last night was quality I thought, Askew was alright, loved it when he played Rex Mundi - Perspective, shame it was that wank ronski speed bootleg though. Hardwick was good I thought, especially towards the end. That mix of Binary Finary was Binary Finary - 1998 (Protoculture mix), John 00 Fleming was on top form I thought, One of the best sets I've seen him play. Also played tune of the night for me, Chakra - Opacity (Electro remix)

It was quite funny seeing LeeTheMackem escorting his mate to the seats in a k hole, then laughing at the kid and saying something to LeeTheMackem who quickly ID'd me as rossy off the board.

oh and I love the funktion 1 in Digital, much prefer crystal clear music than loads of bass myself.

It was all about the 6 speaker Funktion 1 setup at Glade. That suited Psy Trance to a T!

I'm way too old for all this! It's just so tiring these days!

Askew was good, really enjoyed Hardwick but couldn't really get into J00F, plus I was knackered by that point as well.

I wish I'd remembered my ear plugs as well - my poor ears!

Thought Askew was ok, but on too early. Hardwick was fairly pants (first time ive said that), and i ended up leaving halfway through his set.

Good to see plenty of people i hadnt seen in a while though.

On Digital, i dont like it much tbh. Completely soulless. Much prefer a night in the Cosmic. The Digital backroom when full is quality though, eg Masiello or Seaman last year.
