I had an alright night like! Was really really good to see some old faces out! (Vin, MOS, DJpaul, Dobbs, etc) :)

Music was class all night, a bit banging at first like! Hardwick was mint (what i saw of him anyway!) Upstairs was good too, loving the different rooms... mint music in each

Something was missing though....trance doesnt seem to work in digital, where was the atmosphere? and the dancefloor reaked of sick/fish/cheese all night  think thats part of the reason we spent more time upstairs!!

Back to Liverpool today, Till next time guys
    xxx

Hmm perhaps your right... There was a vibe at Hawtin in April, but nothing like foundation!! Just dont know what it is! Too much smoke? Ceilings too high? or just the people??

At Foundation the dance floor was like the TV in your living room, in that everything is geared towards it. It was only the horse shoe seats that were out of dance floor range, even when you went upstairs in the main room it was still geared toward looking at the dance floor.

It would certainly make it a more compact closed in clubbing environment.

Foundation was built by PO NA NA a business aimed at the clubbing market.

Digital is the old Powerhouse which was built for people getting together, having a drink & a bit of dance.

People from Digital will say the club was voted ??? best club in the world but I reckon that has more to do with the nights & the people in their rather the layout of the bricks & mortar.

aye...it may have been voted 15th best club in the world

but theres at least 20 clubs I have been in that are way way better than digital

what they should have said was "it puts on some of the best lineups in the world" which is a lot different to ONE OF THE BEST CLUBS IN THE WORLD

THEY COULD/SHOULD START by taking taking down that ridiculous railing that bisects the middle half the club, it is like a relic from the 70's and adds nowt to the overall layout / atmosphere

awaits a load of backlash and frequent mention of funktion 1 soundsystem

It was too loud i thought last night.

I dont see what the fuss is about with the sound system - Fabric sounds miles better.

It would be even worse than it is right now without that thing that cutting through the middle - it would just feel like a big empty box then.

Totally aye. I would actually prefer a club with something a bit more beaten up and softer sounding. Or maybe just fiddle with the eq's on it to make the thing a bit less 'fresh'.

Digital will never be that kind of place though - Its more of a 'superclub' type experience than something grungy and dark. It depends on what your up for though eh.
