pigeonholing musical genres and musical snobbery is for trainspotters

there is good and bad music in every scene

    FACT

GAV , you cant say all trance is gash, the original trance like age of love by age of love and loads of stuff on platipus is most definately not gash

and re: the hard stuff, someone dig outthe pics of gav boshing to yoji or tara reynolds

everyone tends to diss the hardstuff until they get to an event. i've converted loads of indie kids to trance heeds just by taking them to evolve, and that isnt really that good of a trance event!

anyways - i'm not heading back the digi-"hub of newcastles musical scene"-tal, until they throw on some proper trance DJ's.

the last good night i had on there was when ferry corsten was on! that was fucking ages ago! and was made much better by Hooked being on upstairs :D

 I remember when we got our first wheelie bin back in the early 90's. We had a few hours play in it before it got any rubbish put in it. Happy days eh! All the toys and games in the world just don't match playing in a bin.:spangled: wtf

We used to use old gas boards. Until the bastards decide to change the design of them which made them unsledable.

    erm I didn't
and most of it that gets played is formulaic music by numbers bollocks.

thing was back when age of love and stuff was being played out you'd not get a whole night of trance, it'd be mostly house with some proper euphoric trance sections to lift the roof off - not an entire night trying to create those euphoric moments using substandard shit to fill in between the good bits.

anyway, I'll probably end up down the front, top off screaming 'I love you lisa' at the top of my voice on friday now I've said this*

*not that this happened last time I got dragged along to see her or owt

I think you do please alot of people but im my opinion you should be getting a broader selection of DJ's in from around the world, i mean why Lashes & Pin-up again? It's understandable they bring in the numbers but would the like's of B.K, Jon O Bir or Marcel woods ect. not do the same?

In my opinion you should just have Richard Tuilp doing the full night once in a while, that guy's quality & you cant beat a residents night:up:
