Please take note of the following guidelines when posting details of event listings

1 - Priorty given to LOCAL/North East Event Threads.

2 - All new threads must be given a meaningful title, for example Event, Location, Date - Anythiny else will be deleted.

however, the following are facts

if picotto plays remixes of his old tunes and blasts out the classics it will be mint

if he plays a set with 80% minimal in it will send the dancefloor to sleep and everyone will have done one by 3am

Zoe mentioned this last month in another thread 'cos I was saying that it seemed like an odd booking for a trance night now his style has completely changed.

Id be interested to see if Picotto has been booked specifically to play a classics set, or whether hes been booked to play a normal set.

If its not specifically a classics set then no-one can really have any complaints about him playing more a minimal style, as thats what he plays nowadays and the question would be why has he been booked for a trance night (other than the promoters knowing his name on the bill will fill the club regardless of what hes playing).

For those that havent heard him recently, check out his album released last year titled 'now & then' for an idea of where hes at nowadays musically.

from what I can see he is doing remixes of his biggest tunes and they are all getting re-released at the same time

so I would expect the likes of verdi etc... but maybe not the saem version as you heard first time round

I am doubtful whether it will be an out and out classics set

no disputing the pull of his NAME tho whihc is why he has obviously been boooked
