If you've been booked to play a Trance night, you expect to hear prog/trance/tech/hard dance, this was abysmal.

On the other hand Fila was quality, really strong tracks & all bang up to date, mixing was seamless & had he place jumping within minutes :cool2:

Imagine the carnage he'd cause if he was still playing tracks like In Deep and Twister. Then dropping The Theme Song and the Fluid Mix of Chemistry.

Then you get the total tripe he's playing now. opposite ends of the spektrum.

Do they work out cheaper in the long run though with the benefits they bring?

He would have any Venue in turmoil, the stuff he's playing these days is terrible, total party DJ, yet he seems to be on all the club listings & his name is popping up at all the established clubs uk/worldwide.

Im baffled as to how he can get away with playing the stuff he does? Seal - Killer, Timbaland, On a ragga tip???
like I say I gave him the benefit of the doubt being local, never again.

You can see why the Sheepshaggers didn't want Sander Vander Gloom on.

He's been getting hyped up since long long before Riff, that was only last year, he's been touted as "the next big thing" since he burst on to the scene.

The only problem with them is that although they are quite tough they do get scratched and look rather dirty and shoddy even though they could be clean as a whistle!

yeh i know mate but theres one thing being touted "as next big thing" and getin the gigs. there are lots of people that are supposed to be the next big thing, they still need somethin to set it all off.

He has been getting gigs though, I've saw his name all over the place for the last 2 years or so.

Agree with Chris the SOS remix is god awful.

Sander has had more than enough quality releases to 'set it all off' and fully justify being 'the next big thing, off the top of my head...

Sander van Doorn releases Punk'd, Dark Roast, Loaded, Bling Bling, remix of Control Freak, remix of Direct Disco, remix of Dance for life.

As Sam Sharp Twister, Deep/In deep, Craft, Error

    As Sandler Theme Song, Chemistry

    As Purple Haze Adrenaline, Eden.

Hes undoubtedly one of the most skilled and prolific producers in dance music of the past 5 years IMO, havent heard anything that hes put out in the past 18 months or so but by all accounts hes trying to be a bit different and in doing so knocking out tracks that are nowhere near the levels of the tracks ive listed above.

Hes got more than enough substance to back up being the 'next big thing', though when it comes to going to the next level he seems to be trying to do something different to get him there and what hes trying to do just isnt working!!
