theres always gona be the odd arsehole once the drink takes hold of them it's inevitable(sp). people getting glassed on a night out though when your out to enjoy yourself and would'nt dream of such a thing yourself is not on

start doing a marshall art peeps then when people start you can
ju-jitsu them and snap there arm accordingly then hand them to the doormen

I can't say i have ever accepted that i should run the risk of being glassed in a club.

The fact that you have admitted someone went to glass you is prooof of the pudding that the crowd is fucking shit.

By law clubs should only have plastic bottles and glasses, why would you be pissed off that the container of the liquid your drinking from is made from a different material?

If you need to ask that question then you need to start drinking some decent booze.

It all tastes the same no matter the container, I dont understand how it would taste any different?? I have never noticed the difference.

And it was more to show i have come across these types, im not blind to the fact, but more to show that it shouldnt deter people from a night they want to go to. At the end of the day, everybody involved at digital from the bosses to doormen to barstaff dont want anything to happen to the good people and dont want the shit ones inside in the first place.

You guys obviously want to come to Evolve for the music but arent happy with certain members of the audience, we do what we can, and will strive to do more. If u see trouble help us sort it out, let a doorman or just any member of staff and theyll be sorted out accordingly. I dont think people should stay away cos of some numpties who will be kicked out the moment they start fucking about when most are sound and just there for a good night

Fuckin hell m8, i was wondering where yous lot had shot off to. I went upstairs for abit and had a good crack with Fila (of Aly & Fila) Came back down and there was no sign of yous.

Whos was it who started on you? What was he/they wearin, i was pratically sober all night so i should be to remember.

As for the sets SVD has been playin the same set for a while, thought was okay. Fila played quite a good trancey set that was welcome due to the SVD playin the same techy minimal style that he does.

Glass V Plastic

I used to hate drinking out of a plastic (is it a beaker?) thing but was in Luckies recently & the ones they use are not bad.

The old ones could be squeezed to easily which would result in overflow or crack/leaky beaker.

Couldnt tell you mate! I was standing with my back to him near the post in the middle of the dancefloor & i got pushed. Turned round & a few lads were pushing each other so i tried to walk a bit further back & then bang. Its all very confusing being on the floor haha!

As for the doorman - no one broke the fight up but they were canny as out with me when i went outside. And im not usually a fan of doorman either

I think this was around 2ish so i missed quite a bit of the night - first time ive ever had trouble at Evolve like & I couldnt tell you the amount of times ive been.

I can understand that, i loved promise aswell and at times wish it was still going but, it isnt, and hasnt been for a while....

That crowd is getting older, don't head out quite as regularly or whatever, and not to forget theres been 3 or 4 new generations of 18 yr olds entering their clubbing lives. People moving in & out of town. The crowd is bound to change.

Promise has gone, you can't walk into Evolve expecting promise because thats not what it is. Similar yes and appealing to the same click, but not promise and even so, there was still radgies and trouble there too.

If u just walk in and then straight out u just miss wicked sets, great atmosphere and waste ur 14 bills. Get ursel onto the dancefloor, all i could see was folks dancing their life away with huge smiles across their chops.
