what would be the likelyhood of a j:g mini festival !?! imagine !! in baltic square or leazes park, or even an all day 12hr event somewhere ! j:g is going from strength to strength so i cant see it being THAT far off !
Just to add , junior g is going from strenght to strenght with some quality line ups BUT i will also be attending evolve for a bit of bosh next month as i let myself like more than one style of music at a time !! @ proudy this isnt aimed at u bud !!
Not at all man, if I was honest I do like the Evolve line-up's & will always have respect for what Mr Tulips done in Newcastle, no denying that at all. This wasnt a dig at non other than folk that having nothing productive to say about JNR:G. Oh also fidds..... lips sealed my good freind.
What a joke. I'd love to know why a DJ as good as Richard Tulip is putting on gash lineups like that. Evolve is a joke, I'm glad it doesn't have the promise name. Maybe Deakin did some good after all. How can he possibly expect to win the trance crowd back when people like pin up get booked and lashes is on so often? They're not even good hard house lineups/DJs. As I've said before and someone else in this thread noted earlier, they're all elements bookings. Promise will never be recaptured now.
I'm quite a regular at Junior G I think you'll find. I never said the DJs weren't up to standard. I also never said I couldn't remember when you last had a decent line-up. I've enjoyed almost every Junior G I've been to. I wouldn't class half them DJs as trancey though. Hence my comment about a good trancey line up. That's because Junior G isn't a trance night. I accept that. However, I've enjoyed seeing Matt Hardwick and Above and Beyond more. It's down to personal taste. I never ever meant to criticise Junior G though, so please don't take it personally.
