The busier nights have been Mauro, PVD, Jules, etc. All these nights have been choca block with "beer boys", gatecrasher is always full of them, as are arena events and festivals....

But promise doesn't have an arrogance problem, the messageboard does - but the messageboard isn't a true reflection of the clubs attitude. I've never seen a cyber or poseur having a go @ the beer boys in the club only on the board

and please could you explain how 'it is up it's own arse'. All of the people I have met there I been nice, and especially all the ones I've met from this board.

You cant really compare promise to GC. GC WHERE a global clubbing brand with events in most of the well developed countries. For GC to go down it took alot more than just a few people not going to thier club. If you look at what GC was compared to what they have now it is alarming to think how fast they have fell and it looks like they have no chance of ever bing anywhere near as strong as they where.

GC turned into a tourist attraction and not a club for clubbers. Promise have done well in my opinion and this isnt putting promise down but i think they will be alot better for going monthly as it is something to look forward to at the end of the month.

yeah, u do get some opinionated dicks on messageboards, but at the end of the day - it's a messageboard. it's a small minority. It's sometimes unfortunate that the opinionated dicks get seen as the only people that go to these clubs - when we all know it aint. You ignore them or give as good as you get when on the messageboard and then when in the club - you'll see a different side.

it's a shame about the effect messageboards can have but due to the nature of these types of forums and the web, there's no escaping it.

People forget how much the board did for the club.

there's no denying that, but surely using the same rational, new comers could be put off by a minority of opinionated cocksmiths on a messageboard?
