Yes. The spanish, German and Italian leagues dont have half the quality sides that the Premiership does. The top 3-4 clubs are good yes but the Prremierships top clubs are a match if not more than a match. after that look at Newcastle & Middlesbrough in Europe last season, both did really well and the highest of them was a 7th place finish in the league must say something about the quality? then you get Liverpool the european champions finishing 5th.

We have the best league in the world FACT!

Who finished fourth in the Italian German and Spanish Leagues last season? Udinese, Hertha Berlin, and Real Betis respectivly. Liverpool have just beat Betis away, Hertha Berlin aren't in the Champions League and won their first leg UEFA Cup tie 1-0 against a team from Cyprus. Udinese have had a poor start to their season, having just lost 4-2 against Fiorentina. So I fail to see the logic behind your statement.

the italian league has had countless surprise teams over the past few seasons. chievo being one.

the german league is of a lower standard all round.

the spanish league is more competative with different teams coming to the fore each season... but still no spanish teams won the champions league recently did they.

the prem is a strong league. maybe not the strongest but at least in the top 2 or 3.
