Right and we all know how well he did there!
if he was the most sought after he would have gone to either manu or arsenal, name me 10 centre forwads that play regurlaly in the premiership that syutton is beeter than , actually no name me just one of the contenders for an england striking position that sutton is better than????

We need to be ready for anything, so...

Let the troops leave Basra & head north to the Iraq/Turkey boarder.
Get the troops based in Cyprus ready to move into the Turkish part Cyprus .
Let the Turkish government know we have got nukes & they are primed.
Let us block them from joining the EU.
Let us buy kebabs from Albanians, Greeks & Kurds after the game.
Let us empty the 'Turkish Earthquake' appeal charity boxes

BUT MOST OF ALL LET US WIN THE GAME!!!!!!!!

    Spence

PS If we fail to win can God send the mother of all earthquakes to Turkey
PPS I would rather be......(I WOULD GO ON, BUT THIS SONG MAY BE CLASSED RACIST WHEN IT IS A FACT)

Your one of these people who should probably keep his opinions to himself when it comes to football.

The man has played amazingly in three different postions in a week. Against the French champions he battled in central midfield and strung pass after pass in an hour period before moving up to centre forward for the last half hour and scoring a cracking headed goal, four days later he won the man of the match award playing centre half against Rangers at Ibrox in a three man defence which was missing our Balde, Joos & Mjallby our top 3 defenders.

He has proved himself as a goal scorer at the highest level scoring against the likes of Juventus in the Champions league.

    He's hardly shit wally.

Whether he should play for England with all the B team palava is debateable but he's 10 x the player Heskey is, that's for sure.

THE SQUAD IS RELEASED LATER TODAY

Will Owen be in? Id guess no. Looked like a nasty twist. Fucking nightmare if he isnt.

At least Lush Becks is in.

Sutton isnt a bad player, a lot of people think he is just a big target man like Hartson, but he is so much more.

But I still wouldnt pick him after he refused to play for the England B team against Russia B (?) at Loftus Rd a few years back.

Matt Le Tissier played in that game. Scored a hat-traick and was dropped.

Maybe thats just Hoddle and his man-management "skills" though.

On to Sutton, anyone who claims he is shite knows sod all about football and is just regurgitating (sp) something they heard one of their mates say in a pub.

Sutton is technically very good, very strong, a fantastic header of the ball and can adapt to a number of positions. He is also a very good "strike partner, in that he can adapt HIS game to compliment the striker he is playing with.

He lacks real pace, and isnt the worlds best finisher. However he is far from "shite".

    Orbit > :king:

Good to see someone making an opinion based on what they have seen and not heard.

A striker gets away with having no pace if he can read a game and has a quick partner- take Sheringham for example. Sutton is excellent at this.

Sometimes it's as important to be a quick thinker as it is to have quick feet. :D

Got to be Beattie and Rooney up front. Totally different players, but rooney could run onto Beatties headers. Beattie could do a Shearer for England, only hed have to score goals too wouldnt he :) And for fucks sake sven, please DO NOT play any of the Nevilles. havent you worked out they are shit!"?"
