Diesel does last a long time. My favourite pair I've had for about 4 years and they're perfect. However, they're absolutely disgraceful now. It's quite difficult to find decent denim at the minute, especially in Newcastle. Nudie, Paper Denim & Cloth, Rogan, Blue Bell and Lee Riders are what you want to be looking for though.

it just up here man, in the diesel shop in manchester theres about a million pairs of jeans i want, up here all the diesel jeans are shit.

i agree h&m stuff can be ok, normally buy some stuff from there, not jeans though, i find the fit is poo.
