Thats the first time in a year of hire outs nearly ever weekend anyone has said that our sound is bad. infact international arists have commented on how good it is. With repeat bookings from nearly every promoter we have worked with.

You can not please all the poeple all the time but what did you think was wrong with the sound ?

Just for future reference really as we do pride ourselves on having good sound.

sounds normal tbh

i was buckled throughout but reaky's set was class, and suckley seemed to pick the crowd up straight away from what i remember.

    the state of bev!

i'm sure i saw dan lying on the floor outside with a lass nearer the end. looked like some kind of suave busker.

thought the system was a little bit distorted personally - maybe abit better closer but to me it didnt seem very clear at all - no offence

at the back you couldnt hear anything, at the front on the dancefloor it was just far too loud and really distorted. I couldnt make out the music at all. i dont know whether it is my ears but it didnt sound too good to me.

The system is loud as we like to feel basslines.

At the front there was no distortion at all from the midtops at all as there were no redlines from our mixing desk as that would cause distortion.

We received no complaints on the night.

I could clearly make out the music and Reaky set to me sounded fine as did the others.

Hope if you hear our rig in future you enjoy it more.

I love how you asked what people thought then proceeded to say they were wrong.

Good stuff. Ever thought that being sat behind your mixing desk no matter how much your little red lines on your mixing desk say there is no distortion you have no idea what things sound like and how the sound is being replicated on the dance floor without being there yourself?

I was on the dance floor and walking round the venue all night and was dancing in the middle of the floor to reaky set.

Plus from running the soundsystem everyweek end for around a year i have a pretty good idea of what it sounds like

We also put on partys for 2 years at the redrooms so we have a pretty good idea how things sound in the venue.

Other poeple in the thread said the sound was decent so who do you believe myself who was pretty much sober and them or some poeple who hated the whole night pretty much.

Look i have made my points sorry some poeple thought it was distorted and not clear.

i thought the sound was spot on on the dancefloor, the drop the bass rig has always been a winner for me :)

was a bit quiet at the back like, but ya can't have everything.

the lightness of where the bar was irratated me a bit like

    RUINED.

Suckley was awesome as per, Reaky was class, as was Patterson & his jaw. Kickoffs spoilt the atmos a bit but not too bad.

I was sober, i spent most of the night playing mam on my night off

Like I said, maybe my ears are over sensitive but it didnt sound clear to me, I only stayed until 12.30-1am, not because of the sound but a number of things, mainly being sober I felt uncomfortable all the time I was there, I couldnt relax thinking it was going to kick off and I was right.

    Fair play.

Every one ears are different and it was loud at the front.

First trance night we have worked at and i was surprised by the amount of radgies kicking off i was on edge as well. think was more to do with the veune that the promoters are they were all sound lads.

If your at D.A.V.E. the drummer you will hear the rig in full effect for storming techno and hopefully enjoy it more.
