bit off topic but i was thinking about this when in the shower this morning:

RE lack of venues -

the problem with venue's in town: we only have the ballroom as the only 'major' club with 2 rooms, bar camp david and attic, neither of which i consider a club. The End, Stereo, Venue, Red Rooms and Other Rooms all only have one room, which is shit.

Id love it if digital sometimes allowed nights to use the Other Rooms and then Digital Upstairs as one club then keep Digital main room and use the 'third' room as Digital's second.

I agree that there is a lack of venue's, but the Attic is most deffinately a nghtclub, or at least the 'main floor is.'

the attic would be ok buts its just stupidly set out, maybe if they used the back lane stairs that went straight up into the middle room that would make it seem more club-like, intead of having to wander up countless flights of stairs

it'd be unreal as a club like but i couldnt see digital allowing it

it would be of little benefit to digital. as far as i can see they just want a full club and as a means to acheiving that they run their own nights with big names on to pack numbers in getting door profits and bar profits: or they wheel in big club brands, saving loads in promo and running costs and get the bar profits big time.

handing over 2 rooms to another promoter who would take the door money would eat into the profits

Has anyone ever considered Tokyo or even WHQ?

I've never been in myself but have never heard bad reviews, plus with the ownership of the venue am sure it will be well maintained with a relatively high standard of equipment?
