saying detox isnt consistent is like saying the queen doesnt do a good job as head of state

I like to think of detox as wonkas factory for now:

no one goes in and no ones goes out, but one day the factory may start whirring again and then you may find some golden tickets in wanka bars around town

    nightclubs suck

    surreal is where its at

    :screw:

I think you need to stick to listening to the prodigy experience album and music for the jilted generation rather than chasing me round threads

i take it your yawny smiley is directed at your banter sending me to sleep

dont be daft melt, it's consistant in style but not in frequency. i'd love it if it was on every month, however on second thought it would lose it's charm.

leave JuniorG alone. it was better than detox, end of story :p

    you are making me ''rofl''

tbf junior g was a feeder night for good greef at trees: its charm was generated by the characters and punters who went: but if it had went on that would of definately waned:

ask anyone with any REAL clue whether junior at the cosmic was better than either of the castle gigs we done and there is only 1 answer

mind you the askew and obir junior g's were rather good, but the cosmic still used to fuck it up by always shutting up shop early

i aint going anywhere - i am part of the fabric of the board

regardless of it being a feeder night, it brought city/region exclusives up here pretty much every other month. and it was the last clubnight that i actually looked forward to/got excited about going to since promise. i know alot of people who felt this way.

your just dissing it because 'you gan and rekon geet detox is better n that' but no comparison can be made in my eyes. although unluckily - i was abroad for both the detox castle gigs :(

You missed out on the castle was really good.

Detox is a different ballgame compared to a goodgreef clubnight at the cosmic ballroom in my opinion. Different crowd, different style of event. Different venues. I dont think you can compare them either. I used to go to Junior G everytime and really enjoyed it! But if I personally had the decision to make to go to either it would have been Detox because of the variety, because it supports local talent and most of all because its a local home grown event.

I think people miss the point that I actually thought junior g was good and some of the early ones were immense - - -askew / obir etc...

but in the grand scheme of things I honestly think it was there to push the name of the parent night - good greef in the northeast.

tbh i am anly kicking off in this thread to stir a bit of life on the board just as i was doing in the prodigy afterparty thread

BUT what we REALLY want to know is why isnt elements happening in may - was looking forward to seeing askew ?

    :)
