Well, it was in boro for a start, and i was told by someone quite close to the night's workings not to bother going down because it was that bad I didnt desert JnrG at all, it deserted me.
Warehouse smells like a sewer, other than that its a decent space to jump about in. Its a totally different crowd down there tho, a lot more beer boys and that. Apart from the people I know who are all sound.
cheers for the comments mate vance noticed this comment the other day and told me what you said really appreciate it thanks again for cummin on friday, the lads said that you were taken back a bit when you came to the ballrooms and were sayin you didnt expect it to be like that
Not at all man, credit where it's due, 1st time id seen both upstairs & down in the Cosmic stowed off in god knows how long? The club looked/sounded totally different on Friday with the Binni's Light & Sound rig put in, made all the difference imo & music wise I couldn't believe it, was certainly a treat
You really shoul be renamed to either "Major Buzzkillington" or take the power from your name as "Tool" is more adapt!
i was going to quote that until i realised how old this thread actually was, however i would of replied to it like this: People want the JuniorG territory back because it was amazing, people loved it and it left abruptly on a definate high, not long after it had marked itself as one of the best nights for trance and tech trance in newcastle (or even from newcastle down to boro), however a snyde remark like that really isnt that surprising coming from a promotor of a Hard House night Detox, yes of course, is amazing and i've had some quality nights/days at the event's. but at the end of the day it isnt consistant and people just cant draw an accurate response on detox's (or melt's) contribution to the scene since all events are months/quarters apart! Askew is canny mint, if you liked trance then you'd probably like him - however if fluffy boots is your thing then it's not really a shock to hear that you dont see what the 'fuss' is about. His recent mix is amazing, exactly what i want to hear - a nice mix of trance and techno blended into one show. total bosh. and i'm sure there's only like 3 trance promoters in the whole of town these days.... well, 4 now - godskitchen's up here, but i wouldent consider them a force to be rekoned with
a hard house night? thats like saying shindig is only a deep house night melt loves the grief anyways - u plums should realise that by now
