I love durham, dunno why. Nightlife wise the nightclubs are crap but i love the pubs like the hogshead, saints and the swan.

Only thing i hate is the posh southern students. I went to the Castle Uni Ball last june and the amount of arrogant fuckers.

    both dumps mind.

as for hoergarden lager, my brother introduced me to it in leeds 3 weeks ago, have to say i was impressed.

Durham is well nice its well picturesque, its like going back in time walking throught the narrow cobbled streets, the student bar in the castle is well class, night life wise it aint great, DH1, Klute etc but newcastles only 15mins away by train. I liked durham the two years i was there, i have only really started to appreiciate the place since i moved to manchester, but you can't have it all:(

Can still go clubbing in newcastle yet get away from the city in the week. Beautiful architecture cathjedral castle and the river is nice.

The railway goes from Stockton to Darlo so the Railway woulkd have been Stockton to ???

    Keep your quakers.

Darlo does have a purpose though and that is to keep me employed as i work in Darlo, and its somewhere for Hawkers to settle and for Squadies to go out from Cattrick they are its only uses though as it is a total shit hole!

    The man is right !

Durham is a very nice place as in scenery and buildings ...
But you dont want to be around there if your not from the place.
Its all the surrounding villages i.e. Brandon, Esh Winning, Belmont etc ... thats where all the scallies live :D:D

It is charva central ... go into Durham on a saturday and there is more argos jewellery and kappa shell suits on display than you ever thought possible ! :D
